  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 8 oz thawed whipped topping
  • 1 (14.4 oz) box graham crackers
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced (about 3 cups)
  • 1 (16 oz) container strawberry frosting (Pillsbury brand used)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pudding Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cheesecake pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
  2. Layer the Dessert: In a 9×13-inch dish, layer graham crackers to cover the bottom. Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the crackers. Add a layer of sliced strawberries. Repeat the layers (graham crackers, remaining pudding, more strawberries), finishing with a final layer of graham crackers on top.
  3. Add the Strawberry Frosting: Microwave the strawberry frosting (without the metal seal) for 10–15 seconds, just until pourable. Pour over the top layer of graham crackers and spread evenly.
  4. Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to let the layers soften and the flavors blend. Slice into squares before serving, and garnish with extra strawberries if desired.
